Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our home health team in Lakehills, TX. You will partner with patients to restore mobility, enhance functional abilities, and support long-term wellness in the comfort of their homes.

As part of our care team, you will provide skilled services to homebound clients covered by Medicare, develop individualized plans, and educate families. Strong communication and evidence-based practice are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
• Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage a variety of patient personalities
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques
• Professional, compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient conditions and creating individualized treatment plans
• Implementing therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills
• Educating patients and families on techniques to support recovery and independence
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
