Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home and outpatient rehabilitation for older adults. You will plan, implement, and monitor therapy, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
• Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid, unencumbered OT license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home outpatient occupational therapy for older adults in their residence or in independent living facilities.
• Develop and implement OT plans of care, monitor progress, and adjust as needed.
• Supervise OT assistants, students, and support personnel per licensure rules.
• Collaborate with rehab team and physicians to select appropriate therapies.
• Ensure safety, documentation, and adherence to treatment schedules.
