Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in Connecticut seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for full-time outpatient services, including in-home visits in Glastonbury and Newington. You will implement OT programs and support independence for older adults under supervision.

This role offers a flexible schedule across home-based settings, with a focus on cognitive, motor, and ADL tasks, plus opportunities for mentorship, CEUs, and visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and required meetings.
• Adheres to treatment schedules and documents clinical and billing records.
• Works with rehab team to develop patient programs and activities.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in OT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repairs.
• Delivers patient-centered care and implements individualized treatment plans.
• Provides OT interventions across cognitive, motor, ADL, balance and wellness domains.
• Performs other related duties as required.
