Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation To You is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in in-home settings for older adults. Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and required meetings as a representative of occupational therapy under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedule; maintains timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Works with rehabilitation team to develop programs aligned with patient needs and capabilities.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in OT techniques under supervision of the OT.
• Maintains documentation for all patients treated.
• Identifies and reports equipment needs and repairs.
• Delivers patient-centered care to maximize independence and functioning.
• Implements individualized treatment plans including cognitive skills, strength, mobility, balance, ADLs and more.
