Job summary
Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in-home for older adults within Worcester, Auburn to Westborough, MA. The assistant will implement OT programs under supervision to promote independence in daily activities and mobility in the patient\'s home or living facility.
We offer a Clinical Mentorship Program, free CEUs through Medbridge, and visa sponsorship with relocation support through our Journey Travel Program, all for full-time
Qualifications
- Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
- Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.
Responsibilities
- Attend and contribute to patient care meetings as a representative of OT.
- Follow the OT schedule and ensure timely documentation and billing.
- Collaborate with the rehab team to create and adjust programs for each patient.
- Instruct patients and caregivers in OT techniques under supervision.
- Maintain timely documentation for all patients treated.
- Operate and report on equipment as needed.
- Deliver patient-centered, home-based OT interventions including ADLs, mobility, balance, cognition, and safety.
- Perform other related duties as required.
