Job summary

PARS Therapy in Austin, TX is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our home health care team. You will partner closely with patients to restore mobility, independence, and well-being in their own homes, delivering hands-on interventions tailored to each client’s needs.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to promote recovery, prevent disability, and support ongoing wellness, while maintaining professional standards and strong communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas.
• Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas.
• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices.
• Professional, compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
• Educate patients and families on recovery techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
