Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home care in Brooklyn. The role offers part-time hours, flexible scheduling, and 1099 or W-2 options. You will provide 1:1 therapy, develop plans, and educate caregivers in a supportive, professional environment.

Licensed NY OT with ability to travel to patients’ homes is required; new grads welcome and mentored. Pay ranges from $75 to $90 per visit, depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

OT program graduate and licensed to practice in NY
Must be able to travel to patients' homes within geographic territory
Strong communication with patients, families, and care team

Responsibilities

Accept and treat patients in designated geographic area
Provide 1:1 treatment and evaluate needs
Develop individualized treatment plans per physician orders
Deliver care per standards and policies
Educate family members and caregivers on therapy techniques
Plan and carry out in-home occupational therapy programs
Perform initial exam and documentation for each visit
Evaluate treatment progress and adjust as needed
Willing to treat geriatric patients
