Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home and community-based OT services to adults with developmental disabilities under NJ DDD guidelines.

You will evaluate functional performance, develop person-centered treatment plans, and support independence in ADLs, IADLs, sensory processing, and community participation. This per diem/contract role offers flexible scheduling statewide NJ and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey OT license issued by the NJ State Board.
• ACOTE-accredited OT program required.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
• Reliable transportation and NJ driver's license.
• Ability to pass DDD background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and goals.
• Deliver in-home and community-based OT therapy.
• Document services per DDD standards and timelines.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals.
• Maintain billing records per DDD rates and authorizations.
• Complete required DDD trainings (Pre-Service, Danielle's Law, etc.).
