Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home and community-based OT services to adults with developmental disabilities in New Jersey.

The OT will evaluate functional performance, develop person-centered treatment plans, and deliver interventions to maximize independence in ADLs, IADLs, sensory processing, and community participation, following NJ DDD guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist issued by the NJ State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates with fieldwork considered.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver one-on-one OT services in home and community settings.
• Document services per DDD standards within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals.
• Maintain billing records per DDD rates and authorizations.
• Complete required DDD trainings.
