Job summary

Collaborate with the care team, educate patients for independence, and participate in rounds and discharge planning as needed. A CA OT license and CPR are required, with 4–6 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of clinical experience.
• Extensive training in a specialty area.
• Specialty areas may include neuro rehabilitation, orthopedics, pediatrics, hand rehabilitation, pain management and work hardening.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate home safety and assess functional needs of patients in home care.
• Develop, plan and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment procedures.
• Communicate with the health care team regarding goals, progress and rehab potential.
• Attend patient care meetings such as rounds and discharge planning.
