Dignity Health's St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life through targeted therapy plans.

You will assess diverse patients, develop treatment plans, document thoroughly, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. You will need organizational strength, flexibility, and a personable, motivating approach to manage high patient volumes while maintaining high standards of care.

Competenze

• High School Graduate; minimum of two years clinical experience and ability to function independently.
• High School GED, upon hire.
• Occupational Therapist license in CA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Mansioni

• Identifies and reports patient abuse and neglect.
• Conducts annual performance reviews as assigned and assists others.
• Accurately identifies functional deficits through records, observation and assessments.
• Identifies signs of dysphagia and swallowing deficits and interprets physician orders.
• Communicates with the healthcare team about goals, progress and rehab potential.
