Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal and perceptual disorders under physician direction. The role requires a state license, CPR certification, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current state license; valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long term care setting required.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent assessment, treatment planning, communication and documentation skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently; able to handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services under physician direction.
• Assess patients and develop and implement treatment plans.
• Schedule and conduct patient visits timely; coordinate with office daily.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with agency staff and clinicians.
• Possess strong time management and problem-solving skills; adapt to change.
