Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home and community-based OT services to adults with developmental disabilities across New Jersey. The OT will evaluate functional performance, develop person-centered treatment plans, and deliver interventions to maximize independence in ADLs, IADLs, and sensory processing.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Graduate of an ACOTE‑accredited occupational therapy program.
• NBCOT certification preferred; required for new graduates.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Clean criminal background check and fingerprinting per NJ DDD requirements.
• Reliable transportation and NJ driver’s license with current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass DDD background checks including CRoff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ISP and goals.
• Deliver one‑on‑one OT services in home and community settings.
• Document services per DDD standards and submit within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with Support Coordinators, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide caregiver training and home programs to reinforce goals.
• Adhere to all DDD policies and HIPAA confidentiality standards.
• Maintain accurate billing records consistent with DDD rates and authorizations.
