Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in home health settings, promoting independence and safety, aligned with physician orders and agency policies. You will collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.

Requirements include active state licensure, ACOTE-accredited education, NBCOT eligibility, CPR certification, and 1+ year of OT experience.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program completion or equivalent.
• Eligible to take or have completed NBCOT certification examination.
• 1+ years related occupational therapy experience or approval from regional clinical leaders for less than 1 year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems and document rationale when not addressed.
• Maintain safety and effectiveness of therapy delivery; supervise home health aide when RN inactive.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
