Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a per-diem Trainer to provide Face-2-Face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers. The role covers fingers on PT/INR testing and reporting responsibilities, travel to customers’ homes, and remote appointment setup.

The trainer will demonstrate device usage, explain reporting options, and document records electronically. Florida-based candidates must meet background checks; base pay varies by location, with travel required.

Qualifications

• The Trainer must have clinical experience and be a current Registered Nurse.
• Experience with anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• Health education training is a plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointments with customers or caregivers.
• Travel to customers' homes within the general geographic area.
• Demonstrate and instruct on proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options.
• Document and submit training records electronically.
• Maintain secure communications handling PHI.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Travel a minimum of 100 miles roundtrip required.
