Job summary

Ethan Allen Global, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Design Consultant to craft individualized design solutions for customers, close sales, and maintain brand standards in the design center.

You will greet clients, present layouts, and coordinate closely with the team to deliver seamless service. Successful candidates will have at least 1 year of interior design experience, a design-related degree (desirable), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of practical interior design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a design-related field from an accredited institution, desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions consistent with customer preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen’s products and services.
• Represent the Ethan Allen brand in all customer interactions and greet customers to obtain appointments and in-home consultations.
• Utilize grassroots marketing and social media to grow the business.
• Educate customers about the complimentary design service.
• Stay current on design and color trends to create fashionable solutions.
• Coordinate with the team to provide exceptional service before and after the sale.
