Job summary

Ethan Allen is seeking a Design Consultant to work closely with customers to craft personalized design solutions that align with taste and budget. This role focuses on space planning, fabric coordination, product selection and overall project design, with performance measured by sales and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes brand representation, relationship-building, and the use of digital tools to present and close design projects, including in-home consultations and online engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of practical interior design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a design-related field from an accredited institution, desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions that meet customer preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen products and services.
• Represent the Ethan Allen brand in all customer interactions and secure appointments and in-home consultations.
• Coordinate with team to provide exceptional service before and after the sale.
• Utilize social media platforms to develop and grow the business.
• Stay current on design trends to craft fashionable solutions.
• Enter orders using the retail POS system.
• Develop grass roots marketing plans to expand market reach.
