Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Home Health RN to provide one‑to‑one patient care in home settings. Focus on IV insertion, central line care and vascular access, delivering high‑quality nursing services with supervision as needed.

The role requires an RN license in NJ, at least one year of RN experience, and proficiency with Google Suite/Microsoft Office. A BSN is preferred and a dedicated, patient‑centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Certificate in Nursing.
• Minimum of one (1) or more years of RN experience.
• Ability/Experience with Inserting IVs.
• With previous and recent IV experience (preferred) within one (1) year: Demonstration with preceptor inserting peripheral line, accessing ports, PICCs and central lines. Or - Without previous experience or experience not within one (1) year: Will complete a vascular access device (VAD) course through HMH and follow up practicum experience in HMH outpatient infusion setting and return demonstration with preceptor inserting peripheral line, accessing ports, PICCs and central lines.
• Successful Completion of Infusion Test within probationary period with grade of 80% or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN).
