Qualificações

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited program.
• Active veterinary license in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Valid U.S. driver''s license and ability to travel between appointments.
• Ability to work independently as a mobile veterinarian.
• Strong empathy and professionalism in pet hospice conversations.
• Availability to participate in rotational weekend scheduling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with weights up to 100 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and euthanasia services.
• Travel independently to scheduled appointments in a mobile care setting.
• Perform examinations, clinical assessments, medication administration, sedation, euthanasia, and documentation.
• Educate families on quality-of-life decisions and aftercare considerations.
• Maintain accurate veterinary medical records for each patient encounter.
• Collaborate with families, Heartstrings team, scheduling and referring veterinarians.
• Safely handle animals during in-home visits.
• Maintain professionalism and clinical autonomy in the field.
