Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring full-time in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinarians to serve pet families across Metropolitan Pearland & Friendswood, Texas. You’ll set your own schedule and deliver compassionate end-of-life care in clients' homes.

This role emphasizes autonomy, empathetic communication, and a flexible weekend rotation, with compensation ranging from $110,000 to $140,000 and no non-compete agreement. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and retirement planning.

Qualifications

• DVM, VMD, BVMS, or equivalent degree from an accredited or otherwise qualifying program.
• Active Pennsylvania veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments
• Comfort working independently in the field
• Empathetic, clear communication during end-of-life conversations
• Availability for rotational weekend scheduling
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and assist with up to 100 lbs, with reasonable accommodation
• Successful background and motor vehicle record check after hire
