Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to deliver in-home hospice, palliative care, and compassionate euthanasia for families in Pearland, Fanswood, and surrounding Texas communities. Work outside traditional clinics with autonomy and clinical support.

Clinicians provide high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care, guide families through difficult decisions, and maintain professional, independent practice in the comfort of homes while collaborating with a dedicated

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Active veterinary license in the practicing state or eligibility.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel to in-home appointments.
• Ability to perform exams, treatments, and humane euthanasia in home settings.
• Strong communication with families during sensitive conversations.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and euthanasia services to pets in your service area.
• Travel independently to scheduled home visits and work outside a traditional clinic setting.
• Conduct physical exams, clinical assessments, medication administration, and related veterinary services.
• Educate families on end-of-life options with empathy and clarity.
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with Heartstrings teams.
