Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

You will support personal care and daily living activities to promote comfort, dignity, and the best possible quality of life at the end of life. This full-time role includes a standard day schedule with weekends rotation and benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, 1:1 care to patients in their homes under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities to promote comfort and dignity.
• Document services provided accurately and timely.
• Travel to patient homes and provide care as scheduled.
