Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary care team.

You will provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, supporting personal care and daily living activities to preserve comfort and dignity at end of life. The role requires an active CNA certification in the state, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel between patient homes.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Ability to provide patient care including personal care and daily living activities.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
