Fireside Hearth & Home in Madison, WI is seeking a Service Technician to perform in-home service on fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and facings. You’ll diagnose issues, startup fireplaces, and orient homeowners while learning our product line.

Qualifications

• No experience repairing fireplaces is required—learn on the job with an experienced technician.
• Candidates must be comfortable using hand and power tools and possess good customer service.
• HVAC or electrical knowledge is a plus, and ability to lift 50+ lbs is required.
• You must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and meet driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools to diagnose and repair fireplace components per manufacturer specs.
• Initiate fireplace startups and provide homeowner orientations.
• Learn Fireside’s product line to upsell after-market parts and accessories.
• Communicate clearly with customers to ensure quality service completion.
• Follow all company safety standards and procedures.
