Job summary

Fireside Hearth & Home in Madison, WI is seeking a Fireplace Installer to provide in-home installation of fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and facings. This role involves learning on the job with an experienced installer and coordinating with sales staff to ensure high-quality installations.

The position requires mechanical aptitude, basic tool use, and a customer-service mindset. 18+ and a valid driver’s license are required; HVAC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• No experience installing fireplaces required – you will learn on the job with an experienced installer.
• Experience using hand and power tools; must be mechanically inclined and provide excellent customer service.
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years old, have a valid driver’s license and meet driving standards.
• Tablet/Computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Install fireplaces with attention to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain knowledge of fireplaces, stoves, and related products, including manufacturer changes.
• Communicate with sales staff and field operations to ensure installations meet quality standards.
