Job summary

Centerstone in Crossville, TN seeks a Family Support Specialist to provide in-home visitation to enrolled families in Cumberland County, building trusting relationships and connecting families with resources to enhance family functioning and child development.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology or social work, two years of experience with youth and families, and regular county travel. This is a full-time position with benefits and pay range listed.

Qualifications

Experience working with children and families in related settings.
Ability to establish trusting relationships with families.
Knowledge of infant and child development.
Respect for diverse family structures and cultural differences.
Willingness to engage in reflective practice and supervision.
Infant Mental Health Endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

Initiate and maintain regular long-term contact with families, primarily in-home visits.
Provide family-centered, strength-based interventions to support parent-child relationships.
Administer screening tools and refer families to additional services as needed.
Assist families in setting goals and implementing the Family Service Plan.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports and maintain accurate records.
Attend trainings and mandatory meetings, and perform weekly home visits.
Provide case management to families on caseload.
