Job summary

Youth Villages seeks a Family Intervention Specialist to lead the Intercept program, delivering in-home, evidence-based support to keep families together and prevent placements.

You will manage a caseload of 4–6 families, conduct sessions 3 times weekly, and travel to homes and communities for service delivery, collaborating with courts, schools, and other providers. A Master’s degree is preferred, with strong communication and scheduling flexibility essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred; bachelor’s required
• Experience with at-risk youth and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexible schedule and driving requirement

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload of 4–6 families
• Conduct 3 weekly sessions with each family
• Perform ongoing youth assessments
• Attend weekly meetings for professional development
• Travel up to 60–80 miles to family homes
• Collaborate with providers, schools, courts
• Provide on-call crisis support
• Document in EMR promptly
