Job summary

Youth Villages in the United States seeks dedicated professionals to support families through the Intercept program. The role focuses on keeping families together, improving mental health outcomes, and reducing out-of-home placements through evidence-based in-home services.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a social services field, experience with at-risk youth, strong communication, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline is required.
• Master's degree in a social services discipline is preferred.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families is preferred.
• Clinical experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer knowledge and comfort with technology are needed.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet youth and family needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Conduct individual and family sessions with each family 3 times per week.
• Perform ongoing youth assessments from a strength-focused perspective.
• Attend three weekly meetings for professional development and quarterly trainings.
• Travel up to 60–80 miles to meet families in their homes and communities.
• Collaborate with other providers, case workers, and courts to plan treatment.
• Provide on-call crisis support to youth and family (schedules vary by location).
• Document accurately in an EMR system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
