Job summary

Youth Villages seeks a dedicated clinician for the Intercept program, an evidence-based in-home service serving youth from birth to 18 and families across Mississippi. The role involves family sessions, risk assessment, and collaboration with schools and courts to keep children safe and connected at home.

Responsibilities include maintaining a caseload of 4–6 families, frequent sessions, and documentation in EMR; salary is $48,000–$55,000 per year with full-time benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in a social services discipline (required).
• Degrees may include social work, counseling, psychology, criminal justice, guidance counseling, or MFT.
• Experience with at-risk youth and/or families (preferred).
• Clinical experience (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Holds individual and family sessions with each family 3 times a week.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of youth from a strength-based perspective.
• Attends weekly meetings for development and training.
• Drives up to 60–80 miles to meet families in homes and communities.
• Collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts for a treatment plan.
• Provides on-call crisis support to youth and family.
• Documents accurately in an EMR system.
