Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to deliver in-home Intercept services to youth and families. The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a social services field, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline is required.
• Master’s degree in a social services discipline is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Holds individual and family sessions with each family 3 times a week.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of youth from a strength-based perspective.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and booster trainings.
• Drives up to 60–80 miles to meet families in homes and communities.
• Collaborates with other providers and courts to plan treatment.
• Provides on-call crisis support and maintains EMR documentation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline (required)
