Job summary

SFM External Careers seeks a Family Intervention Specialist to provide intensive in-home services using Family Centered Treatment in Arkansas. You will work with families to promote safety, permanency, and well-being, delivering sessions in home and community settings.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of family work; a Master's is preferred. You will schedule flexibly, including evenings/weekends, and complete documentation within 48 hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field as determined by DHS.
• Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field as determined by DHS (preferred).
• At least one year of experience working with children and families.
• Must be 21 years of age and have reliable transportation.
• Background checks: Arkansas State Police, Child Maltreatment Registry, FBI/CRC as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home FCT sessions with families and individuals, minimum 4 hours/week and 2-3 weekly contacts.
• Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions to improve family functioning.
• Engage all key family members and establish a support network.
• Develop and update monthly treatment plans with family input.
• Maintain timely documentation and adhere to fidelity timelines.
