Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to provide direct services in-home and in community settings across Arkansas. The role requires coordinating with families under an individualized service plan and embedding the wraparound advocacy model.

The position values strong communication, reliability, and the ability to travel. A relevant social work degree is required, with a preferred master's. Transportation and a driver’s license are necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year experience with children and families.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of resources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services per individualized service plan.
• Adhere to YAP wraparound advocacy model.
• Travel to homes and schools as required.
• Maintain fidelity to program models and interventions.
• Collaborate with families and partners to implement plans.
