Job summary

Saint Francis Ministries seeks a Family Intervention Specialist to provide intensive in-home services using Family Centered Treatment to help families prevent out-of-home placement. You will conduct sessions in clients’ homes, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with families and systems to promote safety and well-being.

The role requires a Bachelor's (and a preferred Master’s) in a related field, experience with families, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field as determined by DHS and at least one year experience working with families.
Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field preferred.
At least one year of experience working with children and families.
At least two years of office experience.
Must be 21 years of age.
Background checks including Arkansas State Police and FBI as applicable.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Conducts family and individual FCT sessions in clients’ homes or convenient settings, minimum 4 hours per week and 2-3 weekly contacts.
Delivers experiential interventions to develop skills for parents and children to address family functioning.
Promotes safety, permanency, and well-being with trauma-informed, evidence-based in-home services.
Engages family members and helps build a natural support network.
Plans transportation and long-term transportation needs for youth and families.
Maintains a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
