Job summary

Easterseals Blake Foundation in Arizona is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide in-home and community-based behavioral health support for children birth through 18 and their families. Responsibilities include assessing needs, coordinating care with families and providers, implementing behavior support strategies, and maintaining documentation while adhering to program policies.

A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s in Behavioral Health is preferred,

Qualifications

• Must have strong clinical knowledge across the lifespan and experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to use DSM-5-TR and crosswalk to DC-0-5 for diagnoses in young children.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; proficient with computers and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess members' behavioral health needs and conduct developmental screenings.
• Coordinate care between families, natural supports, and providers; arrange appointments and transportation.
• Implement behavior support strategies and caregiver education to improve outcomes.
• Provide case management, transportation support, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to funding and agency requirements.
