Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Residential Field Technician to perform in-home energy audits and inspections under the Inflation Reduction Act program. The role involves verifying HVAC, insulation, and energy-efficiency installations, with responsibility for documenting findings and ensuring compliance.

The ideal candidate will have energy auditing or building science experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy auditing, building science, or home inspections.
• Strong knowledge of energy efficiency concepts and field QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home audits and visual inspections of installed energy-efficiency measures.
• Document and verify installed equipment; photograph installations and confirm proper operation.
• Collaborate with the program team to address deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Engage with contractors, utility reps, and program managers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and timely submission of documentation.
