Job summary
Dubies Love Residential Services LLC in Norfolk, VA is seeking an In-Home Direct Support Professional to provide personalized care in clients' homes. You will support individuals with disabilities with daily living activities and assist with community integration.
Responsibilities include implementing care plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with families and care teams. A valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid are preferred.
Qualifications
- Compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state compliance requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, person-centered care in clients' homes.
- Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
- Support clients in community integration and skill-building activities.
- Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed.
