Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in home care, direct support, or a related caregiving role preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and client-centered approach.
• Ability to follow care plans, document services, and communicate effectively with a care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with disabilities or special needs in a home setting.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional monitoring.
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed.
• Facilitate community integration, social activities, and skill-building opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding client well-being.
