Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. The role offers Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem with a pay range of $21.50–$26.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include supporting activities, teaching daily living skills, assisting with personal care, providing safe transportation, and documenting care notes while promoting independence and person-centered goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks and DDD screenings.
• Smartphone or computer access for documentation.
• Experience with I/DD preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to adults with I/DD in homes and communities.
• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities.
• Teach daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping).
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation and follow service plans.
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.
