Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey.

We offer flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, per diem) with competitive pay ranging from $21.50 to $26.50 per hour. Responsibilities include supporting activities, teaching daily living skills, and ensuring safety and dignity in daily routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass background checks and DDD screenings.
• Reliable smartphone or computer access for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands and social opportunities.
• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting and shopping.
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation.
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals.
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.
