Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available; flexible scheduling and paid training are offered.

Competitive pay ranges from $21.50 to $26.50 per hour, with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities across New Jersey. CPR and First Aid training can be provided if needed, and applicants must have a valid driver's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Age 18 or older is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks and DDD screenings; smartphone/computer for notes.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.
• I/DD experience preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities.
• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping.
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation.
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals.
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.
