Closet Factory is seeking an In-Home Sales Designer to design, sell, and manage custom cabinetry projects for Bay Area homeowners. You will meet clients in their homes, capture needs, measure spaces, and present tailored designs and proposals from consultation through installation.

The role blends sales, design, client consultation, and project management with comprehensive training and software support. A guaranteed collaborative team environment and independent growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to guide clients through purchasing decisions and ask for the sale
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects at different stages
• Attention to detail in measuring spaces
• Comfort using computers and learning new software
• Motivation to develop referrals and new business
• Professional attitude and accountability

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to understand needs, priorities, style, and budget
• Measure spaces accurately and assess belongings
• Create customized designs for each home
• Help clients select materials, finishes, colors, hardware, and options
• Present designs and pricing proposals
• Guide clients through decision-making and close the sale
• Coordinate with internal teams through manufacturing and installation
• Maintain communication with clients throughout projects
• Develop referrals and new business sources
