Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid drivers license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and meetings as a representative of occupational therapy under supervision.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules; completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Collaborates with rehab team to develop programs matching patient needs.
• Instructs patients, families and caregivers in OT treatment techniques under supervision.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans, maintains, reports repairs for equipment as needed.
• Puts patient service first; delivers high-quality compassionate care.
• Implements patient-specific treatment plans established by the supervising OT.
• Provides OT interventions including cognitive, strength, mobility, ADLs, balance, and safety activities.
