A flexible behavior consulting firm is seeking a Behavioral Consultant to deliver evidence-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes completing functional assessments and developing support strategies while working collaboratively with families. Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Reliable transportation to and from clients' location.
Clean background check.
Must have CPR & First Aid Certificate and negative TB test.
Must have Professional Liability Insurance.
Responsibilities
Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and ongoing evaluations.
Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
Teach and coach caregivers on behavior support strategies.
Work collaboratively with case managers and interdisciplinary teams.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Familiarity with Google Workspace
Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards
Education
Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or related field
Tools
