Job summary
A behavioral health organization is seeking a Behavioral Consultant to provide evidence-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Candidates will perform assessments, develop behavior support strategies, and collaborate closely with families. This contracted position allows for flexible scheduling, primarily in-home and community-based services. Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field and relevant experience. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication and independence.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Reliable transportation to and from clients' locations.
Experience writing Behavior Support Plans.
Responsibilities
Complete Functional Behavior Assessments and ongoing evaluations.
Teach and coach caregivers on behavior support strategies.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Familiarity with Google Workspace
Education
Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related field
