A behavioral health organization is seeking Behavioral Consultants to provide evidence-based behavioral support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This contracted position involves conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior support strategies, and teaching caregivers. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and strong communication skills, with an emphasis on working independently and collaboratively. The role offers flexibility, working primarily in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• CPR & First Aid Certificate required.
• Clean background check is mandatory.
• Experience working as a Behavioral Consultant is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Complete functional assessments and develop behavior support strategies.
• Teach caregivers and staff on behavior support plan interventions.
• Document and report in compliance with BDDS waiver standards.

Connaissances

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and with a team

Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Formation

Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or related field
