Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care for adults and seniors. CNAs work one-on-one with clients in home settings, with flexible scheduling and strong care team support.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Active Maine CNA license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must not appear on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Access to a working cell phone is required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene).
• Provide mobility assistance including transfers and ambulation.
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations as directed.
• Support daily care tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting client independence.
• Monitor for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to nursing staff.
• Identify and report safety risks or environmental concerns.
• Perform tasks within CNA scope of practice and care plan.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on schedule.
• Follow infection control, safety procedures, and HIPAA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Respond to emergencies and report incidents immediately.
• Maintain professionalism, respect, and dependable attendance.
• Adhere to MaineTouch policies and participate in required training.
