Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our in-home care team in Indiana. You will work one-on-one with seniors, providing a range of personal care and companionship to help them age in place with dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. We offer flexible full- or part-time schedules, paid mileage, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus.
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance
