Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate CNAs to deliver in-home, one-on-one care in Gary, Indiana. The role focuses on companionship and assisting with daily living activities to help seniors age in place with dignity.

You will work with clients individually, building trusted relationships while providing empathetic, high-quality care. Flexible scheduling and advancement opportunities are highlighted in the benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia/alzheimer care is a plus.
• Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone.
• Physically able to lift/push/pull ~25 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and insurance.
• Compassionate, mature, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide social companionship to clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks: feeding, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry and meal prep.
• Transport to appointments, errands, and social events.
• Standby assistance with transfers and overnight safety.
