Job summary

MaineTouch is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care to adults and seniors. CNAs aid with daily living activities, maintain comfort and safety, and support clients in their homes with compassionate, one-on-one care.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active Maine CNA license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must not appear on Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting).
• Provide mobility assistance and transfers.
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations.
• Support daily care tasks including light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting independence.
• Report changes and safety concerns promptly to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control and HIPAA procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with MaineTouch policies.
