Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors. CNAs support clients in their homes by assisting with daily care needs while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

This role is well-suited for CNAs who value one-on-one care, enjoy working independently, and want flexible scheduling with support from a responsive care team.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license required
• Experience delivering personal care and mobility assistance preferred
• Excellent communication and documentation skills required
• Must be able to work independently in home settings

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene)
• Provide mobility assistance and transfers
• Record vital signs and health observations as directed
• Support daily care tasks and meal preparation
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting client independence
• Monitor changes in condition and report concerns promptly
• Maintain safety, HIPAA compliance, and infection control procedures
• Document accurately and adhere to care plans
